We have been working toward having a true neighborhood/community food Pantry since we opened up Thriftique nearly one year ago. What a unbelievable time we had at the soup kitchen this week. Special thanks go out to Darla, Jeanie and the joy-filled team of volunteers that organized, prepared and served the food to feed 200 of Chicago’s homless and needy. The totals came in at feeding 177 wonderful and greatful participant.
