November and December Holiday Dates 08

  • November 2008 dates to remember Soup Kitchen November 23th Join up with the team as we provide a warm meal to some of the needy and homeless in our ministry. This night will also feature our own Paul B. playing the guitar as participants dine. During the meal we will be distributing Socks, Shoes, Coats, Blankets, Lotions, lip balm and personal hygiene supplies that have been purchased and provided by the members in our community. Please drop off any collected items at the Thrift shop or bring them to the church anytime prior to November 23rd. Prayerfully consider doing a sock/coat/lip balm drive at work or in your neighborhood to help meet the needs that we are serving.
  • November 30th Adopt a family for Christmas presentation.
  • December Dates:
  • December 7th Deposit wrapped Gift for your adopted family in the giving tree area.
  • December 13th Community Breakfast and games for children. 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Coast is $4.00 per person and includes a full breakfast with pancakes, sausage and all the good stuff and entertainment for children up to 12 years old.
  • December 13th Guitar Concert 8:00 p.m.
  • December 14th 10:30 a.m. Christmas Concert and Presentation Let’s invite our friends family and neighbors to our Christmas presentation. We’ll have a great time reflecting on the meaning behind all the activity and celebrate with singing laughing and hearing the word to give us all life.
  • December 21st Children’s Christmas Feature
  • December 24th 7:00 p.m Community Christmas Eve Service. It’s a first for many of us… Really Exciting! Complete with Christmas Carols. and Candle lighting.
  • December 28th Soup Kitchen
  • December 31st New Years Eve Celebration 9:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. It’s truly the greatest way to bring ring in “09″ Food, Games and all around good times with your beloved church family
  • Ministry needs to keep in mind.
  • Please save your plastic bags for the Thrift store. Drop them off any time at the shop or bring them on Sunday.
  • We are collecting Spaghetti Sauce for our the Soup kitchen place at the welcome Table at Church or in the food depository at Thriftique.
  • The soup kitchen needs personal sized toiletries: deodorants, razors, tooth paste and brushes, Lotions and any Canvas Bags with Zippers. Winter shoes, coats and Gloves will be collected and distributed now through January 25th.
